Default How do I get the ~ above the n?

I have gone to insert symbols to search for the n, with the ~ over it, and
Microsoft 2007 does not seem to have it. This is quite troublesome as much of
my work is in Spanish, thus calling for this character. Any advice would be
helpful. Thanks.

The characters are not in Word, but in your fonts. Do the Word2003
keystrokes no longer work? There, the sequence was Ctrl-Shift-~, n.

It is character 00F1 (Unicode) or 0241 (ASCII), as it has always been. There
are several ways to insert it. See
