Default Word 2000 help

I need help creating running chapter numbers in sequential files. FWIW, I am
using a master document and subdocuments if that helps.

Default Word 2000 help

If you can keep all of the contents in one file that would be the easiest
approach. If you do want separate files, make use of INCLUDETEXT fields
instead of a master document, because master documents tend to corrupt (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/Wh...csCorrupt.htm).

For more on INCLUDETEXT fields, see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfm...ldscontent.htm.
