Word 2007 Applying Templates
Hi,
I understand that templates are used to create new documents on a template but is it possible to have this the other way i.e. a new company template has been created with logo, page border, page numbering in footer etc. and I want to quickly apply this template to existing documents... is there a way without having to copy/paste text from the old documents into a new document based on the new template? I thought I could use Themes but as far as I can tell this is just for colours... Any ideas? I'm using Word 2007. -- Thanks, Lou |

No. Attaching templates to documents does not attach their fixed elements
such as text and graphics. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Louise wrote: Hi, I understand that templates are used to create new documents on a template but is it possible to have this the other way i.e. a new company template has been created with logo, page border, page numbering in footer etc. and I want to quickly apply this template to existing documents... is there a way without having to copy/paste text from the old documents into a new document based on the new template?
