Default Custom Numbering

I want to create custom numbering in which I have C-#### in which after the
C-, there is always 4 numbers. It would go something like
C-0001...C-0010...C-0100, etc. Can this be done with bullets and numbers or
a field code?

Thanks.

KC,
Maybe you could use a seq field.
Press Ctrl-F9 which gives you a pair of {}
Then type the following between them {SEQ number \# C-0000}
Then press F9 to update it which should give you C-0001. Copy the field
enough times till you have all the desired numbers select and update with
F9.
