Default Opening document templates via hyperlinks...

Hi.

I have some documents stored on a shared network drive with lists of
hyperlinks to assorted documents. The problem I am having is that if the
linked document is a document template (*.dot) then Word opens the actual
template rather than making a copy of it.

How can I make Word open a copy of a doc via hyperlinks?

Thanks...

You can't. Hyperlinks do one thing: open something else.

This would require a macro (use a Macrobutton field instead of a hyperlink)
to force creating a new document from a template.
