Default how to set page margin different from header and footers

I have a document with a header and footer. I want to be able to change the
page margins for the body of the document without changing the margins for
the header and footer. Is this possible??? Thank you!

You can't change the *margins*, but you can change the indents. For example,
if you want the header/footer to extend beyond the document margins, give
the header/footer paragraph(s) negative left and right indents.
