Can anybody tell me why Word would open a form right into design view. The
form is on a Intranet site but this happens even if the form is saved to a
local disk. Everybody that has attemped to open the form from the site has
had the same problem so it must be a problem with the form and not my
computer. The person that created the form has no idea why this is happening
either. The form was created in Office XP and everybody that has accessed it
has either Office XP or Office 2000.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The form was created using the controls toolbox rather than the Forms
toolbar. This means it has ActiveX components, I believe.
