Default font strikethrough color

I would like the color for the strikethrough line to be a different color
than the letters that are being struckthrough so that, for example, the font
color for the words can be blue and the strikethrough line is red.

Can this be done?

Thank you.

Not really.

It is possible to arrange in an individual instance with an overstrike
equation field but there are limitations - it doesn't flow across lines, for
example - and it is not practical for regular use.
