how to indicate how much space is available for typing ?
I have used text boxes and indicated 500 characters, but the box looks larger
than the amount of text allowed and users would like to have a better idea of exactly how much space they have prior to beginning to type. |

Use table cells with fixed dimensions rather than text boxes and don't limit
the number of characters. Users then have the space occupied by the cells to fill with text. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org lorraine wrote: I have used text boxes and indicated 500 characters, but the box looks larger than the amount of text allowed and users would like to have a better idea of exactly how much space they have prior to beginning to type. |
