2 Tabs (end of titile + page number) for Table of Contents ?
In Word 2007, I am formatting an automatic Table of Contents. The problem is
that some titles are so long that they go past the alignment of the page numbers. I believe the problem can be solved by creating 2 tabs in the appropriate TOC, one for the end of the title and the other for the alignment of the page numbers to the right, but how do I do this in the modify TOC dialogue box. I have done this manually, directly in the table of contents and the table looks great, but, of course, when I update the table, the tabs disappear. |

You don't need two tabs; you need a right indent. Set the right indent a
good half inch or more left of the right-aligned tab for the page numbers. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Zoonotics" wrote in message ...
