Default how do I add a template to the toolbar?

Add the 'New...' command from the All commands group to the QAT (Quick
Access Toolbar) to give you the familiar templates dialog. Install your
templates in the user templates folder - Word Options Advanced File
locations.

We use several document templates often. How do I add them to the

really sucks. What were they thinking?
