Default Automating Text Style in Table

I am preparing a template in which I have added a few table styles. The
trouble is I can't seem to force Word to use a specific style of text within
those tables...Even specifying font size (from the formatting and styles
pane) doesn't help. Word seems to use the style of text that is defined where
the table is inserted.

Any way to say to Word, "Hey, for this table style I want you to
automatically use text style Normal III?" Many thanx for any info.
