Default Linked text boxes??

I have a lot of text in a texbox on one page of my document, and when I go to
add another textbox on the next page all the text from the first textbox
appears in the new one, and if I delete it, it deletes the text on the first
page too! The only way to get the text on the first page back is to type it
up in the second texbox as I can no longer edit the text on the first page.
Is this a linked textbox? When I have the texbox toolbar up I can't "break
forward link" so I'm not sure what is wrong. This is the most incredibly
annoying problem and I feel like ripping my head off everytime I try and
solve it because I have found nothing that works!! Any help is GREATLY
appreciated!!!

Hurrah! I have solved it! Instead of just clicking open when I wanted to open
the file I clicked the arrow next to it and selected "open and repair" and it
worked!! Now when I add a new text box it is blank and the previous text is
unaffected. Woohoo!!

I suspect that it indicates document corruption, though; see
