Default printing not according to page range selected

hi,

I have created a label list with 600 pages but when i test print page 1 by
selecting the page range=1 in the print setup the printer still pull out all
the pages which are 600 pages.

any one know how come the page range setup is not working for the label
document?

besides, i also heard that printing of label in word will run out of layout
if i print in big batch (600 pages one time), but it could only print out
according to layout by printing in small batches e.g. 10 pages one time, but
this would b very time cosuming as i got total pages of 600. anyone have the
idea how to avoid the page layout run out of order when printing in big
batches do welcome to give suggestion here

If you merge to a new document, each 'page' is separated by a section break
so you can send individual sections to the printer by addressing them
directly in the print dialog, thus to print 'pages' 1-10 address them as
s1-s10.
