Default How can I print with white lettering?

I am trying to have a red background and type my comments in white. How can I
do this to get it to print?

Select the text you want to format this way -- which I hope is only a
paragraph or two, since any more would be terribly hard on the eyes!

First go to Format Background & Shading, on the Shading tab, and
select red for the color. Make sure the Apply To box says Paragraph,
and click OK.

Now go to Format Font and set the color to white, and click OK.

You often need to change the font to bold also: reversed type generally
appears lighter than the solid equivalent.

Yes, either bold, or choose a font with uniform thick strokes. Thin
ones such as Times New Roman tend to disappear, especially if you're
using an inkjet whose ink bleeds into the paper a bit.

That's correct, unless you happen to have a special printer that has
white ink. See http://desktoppub.about.com/cs/printing/f/white_ink.htm
for an explanation of why you're probably out of luck.
