Default Word 2002

I have Word 2002 installed on my computer. Whenever I open a document on
this computer, it would automatically generate insert a few paragraph returns
in the body of the word document and cause the document to run a few pages
more than the original document. This doesn't happen on other computers.

Default Word 2002

Does this happen if you start Word in Safe mode (hold the Ctrl key as you
start the application)?
