how do i print a non-tiled background?
I'm using a photograph as a background on a Word document (Office XP). On
print preview, the picture shows very well, covering the entire page. However, when I print the page, the background is tiled, and looks awful! Is there any way that this can be altered? Thank you. |

how do i print a non-tiled background?
I encountered this as well in a recent file I created and my workaround was
to insert the image directly in the Header and Footer. I've been intending to look into this (I was in a hurry at the time) but I suspect it's because the Background option was intended to be used for creating web pages and/or documents that are viewed on the screen and not for printed copy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton Microsoft Office MVP https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/Melton What is a Microsoft MVP? http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/gp/mvpfaqs Guides for the Office 2007 Interface: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/tr...295841033.aspx "Kate" wrote in message news I'm using a photograph as a background on a Word document (Office XP).
