AutoCorrections pop-up
I am using Word2003 and when I edit a document I sometimes get the
following message appear :- The list of common French (France) AutoCorrections is not available. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now? How can I disable this message without changing any other AutoCorrection features (which I might need). TIA Peter Hibbs. |

Change the formatting of your text from French (France) to the appropriate
flavor of English (unless it *is* French). If it is French, you can rerun Office Setup to install the French proofing tools (by answering Yes to the dialog). -- Suzanne S. AutoCorrections pop-up
Suzanne,
How do I do that. I have tried Tools Language Set Language and it highlights French (France) in the list but if I change it to English (U.K.) and click OK or click Default and then click Yes it makes no difference. Should I be changing some other setting somewhere. Peter. On Mon, 3 Sep 2007 09:48:41 -0500, "Suzanne S. AutoCorrections pop-up
Thanks Suzanne and Terry.
The problem was with just the document I was using rather than Windows settings or Normal.dot. I selected ALL the text in the document and then set the language to English (U.K.) as suggested on the Web site you pointed me at which stopped the pop up form. Thanks for your help. Peter.
