Weird Header behavior
I'm working on a long multi-page document in Word 2007 and the headers have
started behaving oddly. The headers in question simply consist of the document tile with the page number below it and they are in the top, left header. The strange behavior after another user opened the document and made some edits to the document. When I got the document back, this is what happened: First the headers suddenly started jumping out of the header I added a paragraph and suddenly the headers stared scrolling down the page in the body of the program with the text. So, I went through and deleted all of the headers that wer were embedded in the body in this 50+ page document. Then I re-created the headers in the header section. I continued to add and and delete text in the body of the document and when I deleted one section of text that spanned two pages, all of the headers were deleted with it, even though I only selected text in the body of the document. Has anyone experienced this before? |

Weird Header behavior
Did the deleted text include a section break?

Weird Header behavior
This sounds like what happens when you don't keep the non-printing
characters displayed and have deleted an important paragraph mark or break. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "Ned23" wrote in message ...
