Default How to get Word document to go to new page without put in break

I used to be able to get new pages in a Woed doc by pressing enter. Now when
I reach t the bottom of a page it stops and I have to put in page breaks
which if I alter the doc are often in the wrong position. How do I restore it
to original setting?

In a single document that is exhibiting the problem, try this. Go to Format
| Columns and click on the One preset picture (even if the dialog is saying
you already have 1 column). Click OK. If this solves the problem in the
given document, then you will probably need to make this change in
Normal.dot; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm for
instructions.
