I can make the crosscheck but it doesn't work to put a cross in it. Even
though ""Activate crosscheck" is marked.

Is this a question about Microsoft Word? I've never heard of a "crosscheck"
in Word.

Do you mean checkbox in stead of crosscheck, in a checkbox you effectively
put a cross. If that's the case have a look he

There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in
documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do
not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration
of these.
