Default shading has shifted

I have tables saved in MS Word 2002 that look fine but when I print them the
shading within the cells does not line up. And now when I create a new
table even though it looks correct on the screen it prints slightly off. Any
ideas on what has changed and how to correct this?

Default

I'd be inclined to blame the printer on this one.
