Default make a line of text end in a straight vertical line on the right

How do I make a line of text end in the same place on each line on the right
hand side? I have received letters with this done but cannot work it out.

Press Ctrl+J or click the Justify button on the Formatting toolbar or select
Alignment: Justified in the Format | Paragraph dialog.
