Default How to stop table from breaking in Word 2007?

Hello,

I've searched the group and found answers for older versions of Word,
but I can't figure out how to make things work in Word 2007,
especially since all the tabs and menus have been moved around.

I am writing an academic paper in which I want to have one page in the
middle of my paper with nothing but four pictures on it, and I want
the text to automatically flow around it as I write and edit. I
suppose I could just put the pictures on the end of the paper, keep
inserting pages as needed, and insert in right place after printing,
but I want to do the layout right so I can actually see the pictures
where I'm writing about them.

I figured the best way to do it would be to put them in a table. I
have tried all sorts of things with having the text wrap around the
table and unchecked "move with text," but it doesn't seem to change
anything. The worst part is that if I add text above my table,
instead of flowing around the entire table (which fits perfectly on
the page, it's not too big and I've tried making it way smaller) it
actually breaks my table in the middle (2x2 table) and puts the text
between the rows, leaving one row where it was, a huge space, and the
next row an entire page after! Is there some way I can make Word 1)
not break my table if it actually fits on the page, and 2) leave my
table where I want it and make the text go around it?

I could really use some help; have spent like 5 hours messing with
this already :-(

Thanks!

You can't have a wrapped object alone on a page, period. Any wrapped object
has to be anchored to a text paragraph, whether it contains text or is
empty. The best you can do is fake the wrap, which you do after editing is
complete and you know pagination will not change.

Ugh, that is highly annoying! But thanks for letting me know, I guess
I'll just have to leave it alone and move on!
