Default Automatically entering an address in a Word document

I'd like to be able to automatically enter my name & address in a Word doc.
I've NEVER done a macro or template so please answer in very simple terms.
Thanks in advance.

You haven't said why or where you want to insert the address. If you're
trying to create a letterhead template, see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm. If you just want to be
able to insert your name and address anywhere in a document, an AutoText
entry will work; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AutoText.htm

Or you could use the address book. I have added the AB icon from the File Word Options Customise
Commands Not In The Ribbon to the QAT, so whenever I need my address, or any of my contacts, I

simply click on that icon. I assume it will also use the WAB, my contacts are in Outlook.

This and the Auto Format Now icons are the only additional items I have added to the QAT, the Menu
'Groups' and the ribbon is bulky enough without cluttering up the title bar too...

I added the Address Book icon as Outlook 2007 no longer supports 'Letter To Contact' and not all my
contacts have emails!

HTH!
Ivan
