Is it possible to use spell check to check accuracy of phone numbe
We recently had a document released with the wrong fax number on it. I was
wondering if it was possible to add standard phone numbers to the Word spell check dictionary and have it "suggest" those numbers when it comes across something close. I've tried setting it up but have had no luck getting it to work. Thanks. |

You might be able to do this with AutoCorrect but it would be a bear coming
up with all the possible variants. You could put AutoText entries in for your numbers as well. I virtually never type my FAX number or phone number, they are built into the templates for the documents I produce. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
