avoid updating user dictionary
After executing spell checker, using a user dictionary, Word displays a message
about trying to update the user dictionary and not being able to find it. However, the dictionary file does exist on that directory. Is there a way to avoid updating the dictionary, and prevent this message from appearing? |

Try editing the custom.dic dictionary in notepad and trimming out spurious entries.
