Default How I can type chemical formula on MS Word? such as H20

Format the "2" as subscript; if you are using Word 97, 2000, 2002, or
2003, you'll find the option on the Font tab of Format | Font.

For more complex cases, you may find the Equation Editor useful (Insert
| Object).

you can take a look at intelli balancer,

http://www.intellibalancer.com

this software has a powerful editor that format your equation ,eg:
subscript the '2' automaticlly. It can also balance you equations. As
i see it,it's quite quickly.
