You can either format the "3" as superscript (for example via the Font
dialog box), or press Alt+0179 (use the numbers on the numeric keypad, with
NUMLOCK activated) to insert the ³ symbol.

Either enter a 3 and use Format, Font, Superscript, or Use Insert Symbol and
this cubed is in the basic character set, or press Alt+0179.

To insert the symbol for cube (m3) in Microsoft Word, you can follow these simple steps:
