I use MIcrosoft Office Word 2003 with SP2.

Images are created in Adobe Photoshop CS2 with the following image size:
- Pixel dimensions: Width=350px and Height=260px
- Document size: Width=7,5cm, Height=5,57cm and Resolution=118,533px/in

When imported into Word the image size is:
- Heihjt=5,59cm
- Width= 7,53cm

When saving the Word-document to HTML (filtered) and viewing the document in
Internet Explorer, the image size is displayed as 285px x 212px.

How can I prevent this from happening and maintain the image size from
Photoshop?

Hi Sverro,

Check the settings in Word's Tools=Options=General=Web Options=Pictures for Pixels per Inch (PPI)

Some graphics have the Pixels per inch value embedded in the graphic, some do not. If it's embedded in the graphic then Word will
generally honor it, if it's not Word will use its PPI setting to determine the size of the item to insert (Pixels do not have a
predetermined/fixed size).

However, the highest PPI value Word has available that you can set manually is 480 PPI. That doesn't mean it can't handle graphics
with higher settings, just that the UI limit for setting a value is 480.

For graphics viewed on screen in a web browser, 96PPI is the resolution limit of many standard screens and browser versions.

The value you listed, 118.533 PPI appears to be an interpreted value rather than one (a whole number) that would be set in the
graphic itself.

appreciated.

I've got one more question related to saving Word documents as HTML:
- Is there a setting to prevent Word from including Class attributes like
"Class='MsoListNumber'" for "List Number" styles when saving the
document as filtered HTML? This is to try to create as clean HTML code
as possible.
