Hidden header/footer?
Is there some kind of setting that would cause a co-worker's Word to not show
the header/footer when she opens a document? When I open the exact same document on my computer, I see the header footer. But when she does, it is missing and you have to go to "view header/footer" and then they show up. And if she saves a document like that and I try to open it, the header is missing. Please help!! Thanks! |

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm. But note that if the
co-worker is opening a document directly from an attachment, it may be opening in Reading Layout view, which can be dismissed with ESC or prevented by clearing the check box for "Allow starting in Reading Layout" on the General tab of Tools | Options. -- Suzanne S.
