autorecover postponed for 2008. What is wrong. How to I fix it and save the two documents I am working on. Right now I can NOT enter any new information and the system will not let me save what is there or close the documents. This has not happened to me before. |

Autorecover does not 'save' the documents. It saves autorecover information.
The only way to save a document is to actually save it eg CTRL+S or file save. Word 2008 suggests a Mac version of Word, so you would be better asking in a MacWord forum for ideas why Word has crashed and what to do about it. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org MsElder wrote: I am unable to save two documents.
