Default Can't Tab Selected Text

I used to be able to select a groupof text, then hit the tab key and the
whole group of selected text would tab over. Now if I select text and hit
tab, the text is deleted. I assume some setting was inadvertantly changed.
Any clue how to get this working again?

Thanks

Default Can't Tab Selected Text

In Tools AutoCorrect Options AutoFormat As You Type, check the box for "Set
left and first indents with tabs and backspaces".
