word problem
Hi all!
I have small problem... I formatted book in word 2010 and converted to PDF. Everything was ok. PDF was same as word etc. I sent it to friend word and PDF file and PDF all is ok but word file have messed up page numbers at header. On some page they aren't there on some they are just messed up. He has MAC and word 2004., I have windows 7 and word 2010. Is it problem in version of word or problem because he has MAC? Thanks in advance |

Different systems use different printer drivers, which could explain the
differences. However, if you can be more specific on what "messed up" means for your document, maybe someone can suggest something more concrete... -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP wrote in message ... Hi all! Thanks in advance On my side everything works great, even when I convert to PDF everything is great. On his side PDF is same as mine, but word document is messed up. As I said before, page numberings on some pages arent there at all, and on some pages they aren't on page what they supposed to be. Weird thing is, versions before this on, worked ok, but I added just some empty pages to book, and on his side everything is messed |

OK, page numbers shouldn't be able to move from one page to the next... Are
you sure that you inserted them into the header or footer? Disregarding the page numbers, what you describe may happen on systems that use different printer drivers (and you should expect that different operating systems require different printer drivers). See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/textreflow.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP skrev i meddelandet ...
