Default Formatted Docs with Tables/ Pictures not showing up right

I was sent a "read only" word file from someone. It's a form with tables and
text and all that good stuff. But for some reason the pages don't line up
the same way for me. For example, my page 9 is their page 7, and the forms
don't start at the top of the page like they're supposed to. It appears to
be off by about 1/3 of a page (the "top" of the form appears 2/3 of the way
down my page). I thought this was a problem with that particular file, but
then I downloaded a template of a CD case from microsoft, and the outlines
are in the right place, but the graphic portion of the template starts way
too high, and it's outside the printable margins of the page. When I try and
move just the picture back over the outline, it stays there until I try and
type on the page, then it jumps back up. I'm not sure if I have a corrupt
file, or my Word settings are off or what. I have a normal page setup, and
haven't changed anything around that I know of. I'm running Word 2002 on a
Windows XP machine.

I read the thread about "corrupt files" but none of the suggestions seemed
to help, or be all that relevant to my problem...unless I have a corrupt
Normal.doc file. Could that be it?

Hi ?B?Q291cnRuZXk=?=,

This isn't ringing any bells in my head...

You might try starting Word in SAFE MODE (hold down the CTRL key when starting
it, if this is Word 2002 or 2003) and see if that makes any difference at all?
