Default Locking text boxes

Hi,

I use templates for work that are done in word documents. We have text
boxes that are used for address placement. We would like to lock the boxes
in place, so when a customer revises a letter, they cannot move the
addresses. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you,

Depends. Which version of Word are you dealing with?

If it's not Word 2003, only, then the only possibility would involve locking
other parts of the document out, as well (mainly headers, footers and the
Drawing tools).

If that's not acceptable, then you'd need a macro solution to make sure the
address is positioned correctly at certain key points (before printing or
saving, for example).
