Default How to change :-) and :-(

Within Word 2003 and Outlook 2003 running on Windows XP Professional, what
has to be done to change :-) and :-( to their corresponding face? Thanks!

Default How to change :-) and :-(

Stop typing the hyphen part or add them as Autocorrect entries in Word.

This works the same way in Outlook except go to Options - Spelling. I had
to add in the ones that were missing. Thanks for the help Anne!
