form: protect form AND entered data
I'm at a loss as to how to protect a document once a form is filled out. I
need to protect not only the original form, but also the text that was entered in the form fields. Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks, M John |

Well you create the original form with the form unproteced and then you
protect it and fill it out. Use the form Protect/Unprotect icon on the Form toolbar. It looks like a padlock. |

Okay, yes, that will protect the form.....but *after* the form is filled out,

You can fill out the form. Unprotect it. Select all using CTRL+a.
Then unlink all formfields (convert them to text) wuisng CTRL+Shift+F9. Then reprotect the form. I think that answers your question, but I don't know if it meets your expectations. |
