Default Can a field display contents of another field in the same doc?

In MSWord, can a field be programmed to display the contents of a different
field that is located inside the same document?

Use a cross-reference (which is a kind of field, but has its own dialog for
setting it up).

- If the first field is a form field in a protected form, it has a built-in
bookmark whose name you can see (and change) in the form field's Properties
dialog.

- If it's any other kind of field, insert a bookmark that surrounds the
field.

Then insert the cross-reference to refer to the bookmark name -- that's one
of the choices in the Insert Cross-Reference dialog.

See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm for more ways.
