Changing opening format (Word 2003)
How do you edit the opening format for a document? I do not want the
document to open using the "Final Showing Markup" view. |

This is a security measure. If a file contains markup, it will be displayed
unless you disable "Make hidden markup visible on opening or saving" on the Security tab of Tools | Options. I don't recommend disabling this. Be aware that hiding the markup doesn't get rid of it; to do that, you have to Accept (or Reject) All Changes in Document and Delete All Comments in Document. -- Suzanne S.
