I need auto numbering to start at 10000, then 20000 (not 10001)
I am typing a large document - heading 1 needs to be 10,000 then 20,000, then
30,000 etc (but all I get is 10,001) Heading 2 needs to be 10,100, 10,200 etc (all I get is 10,101) etc Can anyone help? Thanks |

Try the following calculated field:
{ = { SEQ test }*10000 \# "### ### ###"} Note that in order to insert the field delimiters {} you have to press Ctrl+F9 (you can't just type them in). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "LesleyH" wrote in message ... You can do this with Outline Numbering - provided you never have more than 9
headings at any level (after that it'll start to go a bit odd). Just type in the zeroes you want in the number format instead of the default dots. -- Enjoy, Tony "LesleyH" wrote in message ...
