Every time we create a bookfold document, it adds an occasional extra black
page (half page in the printing) which throws off the booklet. It begins
adding them on page 1. It is not consistent. Some pages print with an extra
blank on either the right or the left side. Some pages print with two pages
on each half of the paper. We have tried resetting it several different ways,
resetting the defaults, etc.

Have you inserted Odd Page section breaks, or are you restarting numbering
with an odd number? In either case, Word will insert a blank even page.
