Sending a "Final" Document that has tracked changes
If you don't want the recipient to see your tracked changes, you have
to save a separate copy, where you've accepted or rejected all changes, and send that copy. See: How does Track Changes in Microsoft Word work? http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trac...ngesWorks.html -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Circe" wrote in message ... I am trying to send a document as final as an attachment. I use the reviewing toolbar to show it as "final" although I have not accepted all changes - want to retain that for a while. Document is sent as an attachment, tracking if off. When the user opens the attachment, all tracked items are shown? I don't want this to be visible when sent on open. Please advise. |
