Multiple simultaneous editing of a document?
There's a program for Macintosh called "SubEthaEdit." It is a text editor
that allows simultaneous editing of the document by multiple people. If you all have the document open, you can all see the changes that the others are making as they are making them. I have found it extremely useful in collaborative efforts, but it is only available for Macintosh. Is such a thing possible in the new Office? Groove seems only to be able to synchronize finished documents...you can't both have it open at the same time and see what the other is doing as far as I can tell. Can the new Word do this? |
