Can print from other programs, just not from Word. Documents do not contain
unusual formatting or links.

Note: problem is occurring on HP 812C

And how does the problem manifest? You can't select Print from the File
menu, or, having selected it you get no dialog, or, having clicked OK on the
dialog nothing then happens? Does anything show up in the printer status
window?

When you click on File/Print/OK, nothing happens. The dialogue box goes away,
but nothing shows up in the print queue. The printer shown in the box is the
correct one and it is set as the default in Control Panel. There are no error
messages, but also no printed document. Only occurs in Word.
