dehyphenate text
How can text be dehyphenated when there are hidden hyphens. These hyphens
emerge when, e.g., pasting into another application. They look like small hooks. Simply clicking hyphenation and unchecking it won't get rid of these beasts. |

Hi Vay

Simply clicking hyphenation and unchecking it won't get rid of these beasts. If these hyphens are generated in Word, you may use Edit | Replace, search for ^- (optional hyphen in More | Special) and replace with nothing. Depending on the application you are pasting to, there *might* be a way to not copy them in (depends on "Paste Special" options).
