Default Delete a table but leave contents?

Is it possible to delete a Word table but leave behind the contents of the
rows and cells as just text etc?
Simply deleting a table deletes the contents too.

Yes. Select the table, and click on Table | Convert | Table to Text.

Place the cursor in the table. On the Table menu, click Convert, and
then click Table to Text. In the dialog box, choose a column separator,
and click OK.

Hello Andrew:

You could always just hide the grid line in the table too. I hope this has
been helpful to you.
