when I Insert...Object in Word, want filename to exclude full pat.
When inserting an object in Word, displayed as an icon, the full path to the
file is displayed by default. I want only the filename to appear, not the full path, as it used to do with Word 2000. Any way to change this deafult? |

Hi ?B?Q2hyaXN0b3BoZXIgR2lsbGlhdHQ=?=,
When inserting an object in Word, displayed as an icon, the full path to the file is displayed by default. I want only the filename to appear, not the full path, as it used to do with Word 2000. Too bad you don't mention which version of Word you have, now? In mine, when I use Insert/Object there's a button labelled "Change icon". And there you can change the caption (remove the path info).
