Thumbs up Answer: How can I do a diagonal strikethrough

Adding a diagonal strikethrough in Microsoft Word
  1. Highlight the text that you want to add the diagonal strikethrough to.
  2. Click on the "Font" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on the "Strikethrough" button.
  4. In the drop-down menu that appears, select "More Strikethrough Options".
  5. In the "Font" tab of the "Font" dialog box that appears, select "Strikethrough" from the "Effects" section.
  6. In the "Preview" section of the dialog box, you should see a diagonal line through your text. Adjust the angle and thickness of the line using the options provided until you are happy with the result.
  7. Click "OK" to apply the diagonal strikethrough to your text.

That's it! You should now have a diagonal strikethrough on your text without having to draw it manually.
