Default 'normal' view in Microsoft Word is too small

Please help me diagnose and repair the Normal View in Microsoft Word. It has
all of a sudden become miniaturized. The ruler at the top of the screen is
also very small. I cannot readjust it. The print view allows me to type so
that everything can be seen. The 'NormaL' view type is so small it cannot be
read.

Change the zoom from 10% or whatever to 100%.

See http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm then
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm. especially
with respect to the normal template and the Word data key in the registry.
